2 Ingot Place, Silverdale

A semi rectangular shaped yard platform with a surveyed area of 3,840 m2 . The subject is one of a series of platforms in a terrace like formation within the locality. Accordingly the contour of the yard is essentially level throughout with substantial retaining walls to either side. The yard surface is finished with asphalt and also includes concrete kerbing and channelling, drainage and a wire mesh security fence to the perimeter. On account of the platform’s elevated position and terrace type configuration it benefits from an open easterly through northerly through westerly aspect and an outlook over the surrounding industrial estate.

2 Ingot Place extends off Foundry Road and also connects through to Furnace Place. Ingot Place is sealed with concrete kerbing, channelling and footpaths. This is one of the more recently formed roads within the Silverdale Industrial Estate. Ingot Place and Furnace Place comprises a number of yard platforms, its major occupier being Highway Stabilizers. Adjoining to the north are orthodox industrial buildings fronting Foundry Road while adjoining to the south is a substantial high stud warehouse and office building completed in 2005 occupied by Linen & Things. On Furnace Place there is a development known as the “Auto Centre” comprising well known entities such as VTNZ testing station, Cornish Truck and Van and Bridgestone Tyres etc. Also on Furnace Place are various yard platforms one of which is occupied by Allied Concrete.
